These activities include the People's Festival in the National Monument (Monas) area as well as the Independence Carnival which will pass along the Monas-Sarinah-HI Roundabout route."The government will hold a People's Festival at the National Monument (Monas) and an Independence Carnival along the Monas-Sarinah-HI Roundabout route in Jakarta, which will be open to the entire public," said the Ministry of State Secretariat.The government previously recorded that 128,331 people participated in the registration process for invitations to the 81st Indonesian Independence Day ceremony on Wednesday, August 5, the first day of registration.The Ministry of State Secretariat has not detailed the total number of applicants until registration closes.
