Inviting colleges and universities to document biodiversity on their campuses

The Nature Conservation Foundation and the National Biodiversity Authority are encouraging colleges across India to document campus biodiversity using citizen science platforms. This initiative aims to create lasting records of flora and fauna while fostering student engagement in conservation efforts.
The backyard of certain college campuses hardly resemble backyards as we usually understand them: a poky little space, lacklustre, hardly hoofed by human feet. In these colleges, the backyard is an expansive space, supporting an incredible population of furs and feathers; and they pull in human feet given to exploration and documentation of biodiversity.
