Iowa EDA Proposes Rules on Federal Investment Tax Credit Program

The Iowa Economic Development Authority (EDA) proposed to rescind and replace rules on the Federal Investment Tax Credit Program for rehabilitation of certified historic structures. The proposed rules would: 1) add definitions for program terms and application stages; 2) clarify the responsibilities of the State Historic Preservation Officer (SHPO) in reviewing applications and providing technical assistance; and 3) set the specific filing forms and submission instructions required by the National Park Service and SHPO.
