IU physicists help upgrade world’s largest particle accelerator
Indiana University physicists are contributing to a major three-year upgrade of the Large Hadron Collider at CERN in Switzerland. The project aims to increase the intensity of proton beams and significantly expand the detector's readout capabilities to advance fundamental physics research.
