TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta's air quality was recorded as unhealthy, prompting advice for the public to wear masks when outdoors, according to the IQAir website on Sunday morning (updated at 06:00 WIB / Western Indonesian Time).IQAir recorded Jakarta's air quality at an index of 155, with a PM2.5 pollutant concentration of 60.6 micrograms per cubic meter—12.1 times higher than the World Health Organization's (WHO) annual air quality guideline value.PM2.5 refers to airborne particles smaller than 2.5 microns (micrometers), including dust, smoke, and soot.
