Karnataka govt. lays down guidelines for setting up 10,000 Bharat Jodo Yuva Sanghas with focus on sports and culture

The Karnataka government is launching 10,000 'Bharat Jodo Yuva Sanghas' across the state to promote sports, culture, and youth empowerment. Each unit will receive annual funding of ₹10 lakh and will be managed by the Sports and Youth Empowerment Department.
The Karnataka government on Monday began the process of setting up 10,000 Bharat Jodo Yuva Sanghas in 6,000 gram panchayats and 4,000 wards in urban local bodies across the State by laying down guidelines and the calendar for release of funds for them. Each of the sangha will get ₹10 lakh funding from the government annually, and its activities will be focused on sports and cultural activities. A total of ₹1,010 crore will be spent annually for the project.
