Kiwi released on bail in Sydney after man knocked unconscious

<p>A New Zealand man has been released on bail after he was charged with knocking another man unconscious in Sydney at the weekend.</p> <p>Video from Coogee Bay Rd captured the pair interacting after both reportedly left the same venue around 11pm on Saturday night (local time). </p> <p>The alleged attacker, 26-year-old Rangi Moore, can then be seen embracing the 41-year-old victim, before they get into a physical altercation. The victim appeared to be backing away before he was knocked unconscious. He was left sprawled on his back on the pavement. </p> <p>Other people are then seen rushing to the man's aid, instructing others on the street to call emergency services, who arrive three minutes later. </p> <p>The victim was rushed to Prince of Wales Hospital where he was in a stable condition on Sunday. </p> <p>Moore was arrested at the scene and taken to Maroubra police station. </p> <p>On Sunday, he was transferred to Surrey Hills to face court, charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm. </p> <p>Moore was released on bail late on Sunday afternoon, according to Nine news, and would return to court in August. </p> <p>One person said it was "a horrible thing to see. It's very violent." </p> <p>Another said "people get a bit excited after a few beers, but there's no point to it". </p>
