KKCCI urges M.B. Patil to expedite PM MITRA Park, revive Shahabad GE plant
The Kalyana Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry has urged the state government to accelerate the PM MITRA Textile Park project and revive the dormant GE Heavy Engineering Plant. They suggest repurposing the Shahabad facility for modern aerospace and defense sectors.
A delegation of the Kalyana Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KKCCI) met M.B. Patil, Minister for Large and Medium Industries and Infrastructure Development, in Kalaburagi on Wednesday (July 22). Members submitted a memorandum to him, urging the State government to expedite the setting up of the PM MITRA Mega Textile Park at Kalaburagi and facilitate the revival of the dormant GE Heavy Engineering Plant at Shahabad.
