Kollam district administration cracks down on illegal waste dumping

Kollam District Collector Anie Jula Thomas has said that stringent action, including heavy fines, will be taken against violations such as illegal waste dumping. Presiding over a meeting of Local Self-Governments department (LSGD) secretaries at the Collectorate on Thursday, she revealed that a total fine of ₹5,25,350 has been imposed and 106 cases registered in various local bodies within the district.
