Leopard trapped in cage at Kalikulambu

Forest officials in Kerala successfully captured a three-year-old leopard in a trap cage near Kalikulambu. The animal was found in good health and is scheduled to be relocated to the Parambikulam Tiger Reserve.
The Forest department captured a three-year-old leopard in a trap cage at Kalikulambu near Kollengode, bringing an end to weeks of anxiety among residents. The leopard got trapped in the cage at around 11 p.m. on Friday and was taken to the Pothundi Forest Section Office on Saturday morning. Forest officials confirmed that the animal was in good health and said it would be released into the Parambikulam Tiger Reserve.
