Low demand for B.Sc. Mathematics and B.A. Economics led to the closure of these courses, says Ambur college principal

Mazharul Uloom College in Ambur has decided to close its B.Sc. Mathematics and B.A. Economics courses due to consistently low student enrollment. The college principal defended the decision, citing the financial and operational challenges of maintaining departments with no students.
Low demand for aided Undergraduate (UG) courses, especially B.Sc. Mathematics and B.A. Economics among students was the major reason for closure of these courses in Mazharul Uloom College (Autonomous) in Ambur town in Tirupattur from the academic year, said K.H. Kaleemullah, principal In-charge of the college.
