Man tells of attempt to save drowning girl and mum at West Mersea

A man attempted to rescue a mother and daughter who drowned off the coast of West Mersea, Essex, after hearing their cries for help. Despite his efforts to pull them from the water, both individuals died, and a young boy involved in the incident remains in critical condition.
