Philippine Senator Rodante Marcoleta has been declared fit to travel by the PNP Health Service following treatment for mild pneumonia. He is expected to be cleared for transfer once he completes his final course of antibiotics on July 15.

Rodante Marcoleta has been declared fit to travel, but the Philippine National Police (PNP) Health Service has recommended that he complete his antibiotic treatment for mild pneumonia before any transfer. The PNP General Hospital recommended to the Sandiganbayan that Marcoleta finish his prescribed antibiotics until July 15. After completing the medication, the 72-year-old senator may be transported at any time, according to a report of RH Edniel Parrosa.
