Member of Parliament Selvaganabathy donates bus to Pondicherry University

Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha) S. Selvaganabathy has donated a bus to the Pondicherry University. The bus, purchased at ₹40 lakh under the Members of Parliament Local Area Development fund, was handed over to the institution at a ceremony held on the campus. University Vice-Chancellor P. Prakash Babu, senior faculty members and senior administrative staff participated in the event. The gesture would help the university fulfil one of the long-pending demands of students to improve transportation facility, a release here said.
