Mexico asks US state attorneys general to investigate immigrant ICE deaths
The Mexican government has formally requested that US state attorneys general investigate the deaths of 17 Mexican immigrants in ICE custody or operations since the start of the second Trump term. Mexico is also initiating legal pressure against detention center operators for alleged human rights violations.
