Minister promises help to tribal student who qualified NEET in Yercaud

Minister for Transport A. Vijay Tamilan Parthiban on Monday (July 20) promised help to a tribal student who qualified NEET. E. Nivetha (19), a resident of Gundur in Yercaud, recently cleared the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) by securing 245 marks. The Minister met her and her parents on Monday and promised them that he would take the matter to the attention of the Chief Minister and would take steps to provide necessary help for her study. The Minister also gave ₹10,000 as financial assistance to her from his salary.
