Mobile vet unit brings healthcare to tribal livestock in Nilambur

A new mobile veterinary unit, launched through a multi-agency convergence model, is providing crucial livestock healthcare to tribal farmers in remote Nilambur and Kalikavu blocks. This initiative, part of NABARD’s TRIBES project, addresses the long-standing issue of difficult access to veterinary care, which previously led to livestock deaths and loss of insurance benefits.
