Modern whole milk powder plant at Padalur to be ready by year-end
A new 60-tonne capacity whole milk powder plant in Padalur, Tamil Nadu, is nearing completion with civil works 75% finished. Funded by NABARD, the facility is expected to be operational by the end of the year to boost local dairy processing capabilities.
The ongoing construction of a 60-tonne capacity modern whole milk powder manufacturing plant at Padalur in Perambalur district is expected to be completed by the year-end. Nearly 75% of the civil works of the multi-storeyed structure have been completed so far under this project being executed at a cost of ₹150 crore funded by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).
