More than 6.74 lakh residential rooftop solar systems installed under PM Surya Ghar Yojana, Uttar Pradesh ranks second in the country after Gujarat
Uttar Pradesh has reached the second position in India for residential rooftop solar installations under the PM Surya Ghar Yojana. The state has installed over 6.74 lakh systems, contributing significantly to clean energy generation and household savings.
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh has scripted a new chapter in clean energy and energy self-reliance. Under the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana, Uttar Pradesh has overtaken Maharashtra to secure the second position in the country in residential rooftop solar installations. So far, 6,74,393 residential rooftop solar systems have been installed across the state.
