Nakaseke residents fail to use sh480m public market

A $480,000 public market in the Nakaseke District of Uganda has remained unused since its completion in 2023. Local officials attribute the failure to poor planning, noting that the market was built in a rural area where residents prefer sourcing food from their own gardens.
