Nepal authorities extend curfew to Saptari as communal unrest spreads

Nepali authorities have imposed an indefinite curfew in Saptari district following communal clashes that have spread across four districts in the southern Terai region. The violence, which has resulted in three deaths, was triggered by disputes during religious celebrations.
