Nintendo patents Switch 2 dock that connects to first Switch for charging and video

A newly discovered patent reveals Nintendo is developing a cross-generational dock for the upcoming Switch 2 that is also compatible with the original Switch. The dock features adaptive hardware capabilities, including variable fan speeds and resolution output depending on which console is connected.
