A 43-year-old man from Feroke, who was being treated for Nipah virus infection at Government Medical College Hospital (MCH), was discharged on Friday (August 7) after making a full recovery. He was admitted to the hospital’s isolation intensive care unit (ICU) in critical condition in the early hours of June 11 and spent nearly a month and a half on life support before his condition stabilised.
