NSS training boosts students preparedness to natural disasters: JNTU Registrar
JNTU-GV officials highlighted the role of the National Service Scheme (NSS) in preparing students for natural disasters and emergency response. Volunteers are being trained in crisis management to assist during floods, cyclones, and medical emergencies.
JNTU-GV Registrar D. Rajya Lakshmi on Monday said that National Service Scheme (NSS) training programme would ensure overall development of students and make them ready to respond quickly during natural calamities and other emergency issues. She attended as the chief guest the valedictory function of ‘ NSS-Yuva Apada Mitra’ training programme organised at SITAM College for 100 students of various colleges in Vizianagaram district.
