NSW should compensate elderly woman whose public housing was inundated with sewage, ombudsman finds
The NSW Ombudsman has ordered the New South Wales government to compensate an elderly public housing tenant after her home was repeatedly flooded with sewage. The investigation found that Homes NSW acted unreasonably by disposing of her belongings without consent and failing to support her insurance claim.
