Officials review project SARTHI
Visakhapatnam officials are implementing 'Project SARTHI,' an AI-based traffic management system designed to optimize signal timings and reduce congestion. The project includes real-time monitoring and priority passage for emergency vehicles.
Commissioner of Police, Shankabratha Bagchi and Greater Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (GVMC) Commissioner Ketan Garg on Wednesday conducted joint field inspection and held a review meeting to discuss the project - Systematic Augmented Radial Traffic & Hoop Induction (SARTHI), an AI-based Integrated Traffic Management System (ITMS) aimed at making traffic management in the city more efficient through advanced technology.
