One year, 100 walks: ‘Cubbon Walks’ inspires citizens to engage with Bengaluru’s diverse flora and fauna
The Karnataka State Department of Horticulture celebrated the one-year anniversary of 'Cubbon Walks,' an initiative designed to educate citizens about the biodiversity of Bengaluru's Cubbon Park. Participants engaged in guided tours focusing on local flora and fauna, while also raising concerns regarding the impact of urban development on the park's heritage.
Following the successful completion of one year of Cubbon Walks , the Karnataka State Department of Horticulture (KSDH) officials in association with Cubbon Park Walkers Association, Bangalore WALKS and The Naturalist School, organised an anniversary walk on Tuesday (July 28, 2026).
