Over 50 rejected in Kabale as UPDF recruitment starts
Over 50 candidates were disqualified from the UPDF military recruitment exercise in Kabale, Uganda, due to health issues and administrative errors in the online application system. Frustrated applicants expressed disappointment after being excluded despite meeting requirements.
At least 50 candidates who turned up for the ongoing Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) recruitment exercise in Kabale District were on Monday disqualified for failing to meet the required criteria. According to the UPDF recruitment team spokesperson for Western Uganda, Maj Edward Birungi, the affected individuals were eliminated due to health complications and missing out on the official shortlist.
