Pauline Hanson joins Tommy Robinson in England as One Nation leader warns over Australia’s future

Australian Senator Pauline Hanson visited the UK to meet with activist Tommy Robinson, expressing concerns about immigration and the cultural future of Australia. The visit drew mixed reactions from the public and highlighted the pair's shared political stance.
Pauline Hanson has doubled down on her support for controversial British activist Tommy Robinson, joining him on a tour of his hometown before warning Australians not to let their own country follow what she claimed was Britain’s path. The One Nation leader, who is in the United Kingdom for speaking engagements and meetings with prominent figures on the British right, walked through the town of Luton with Robinson, who has long argued the area has undergone what he describes as an “Islamification”. During the visit, the pair spoke with residents about immigration, while Senator Hanson said the experience reinforced her determination to fight for change in Australia. “I’m gobsmacked because I wouldn’t think that I was in England,” she said after touring the town north-west of London. “I definitely don’t want Australia to become like this... this is not Great Britain to me, and that’s why I’m going to protect Australia.” The pair encountered mixed reactions as they walked through the town. Some stopped to chat and posed for photographs with Robinson, while others confronted him directly. “We don’t want you around here,” one resident told him. “You’re a racist.” Robinson also attempted to film inside the Discover Islam centre, but staff refused his request. The latest appearance comes just days after Senator Hanson sat down with Robinson for a podcast interview, further strengthening a relationship that has attracted significant attention in both Australia and Britain. Robinson later praised the Queensland senator on social media, describing her as one of the “bravest lady’s (sic) on the planet”. “Fearless, relentless, consistent, fighting for the Australian people and hopefully the next leader of her nation,” he wrote. Senator Hanson returned the praise in a video posted online. “I sat down with this brave man, Tommy Robinson. A man who has always had the best interest of his nation at heart,” Senator Hanson captioned the clip. The pair thanked each other for their support before discussing political trends they claimed were reshaping both countries. “I’m looking forward to hearing your story and also the shift that has happened in Australia – it’s happened here as well,” Robinson said. Senator Hanson said Australians had grown tired of what she described as “mass migration” and “climate change BS.” “Australians are saying they’ve had enough – they’ve had a gutful. They’re sick of politicians and they want true representation,” Senator Hanson told Robinson. Senator Hanson also used her trip to Britain to target Opposition Leader Angus Taylor after he dismissed One Nation’s policies and ruled out working with the minor party. “You know Angus, I’m not your enemy. We both need to get rid of the Labor, the Greens government – that toxic government’s done so much damage to this country,” she began. “Listen to the people Angus and work with me. Stop denigrating One Nation and work together,” she added. The UK visit has also included a meeting with actor-turned-political activist Holly Valance, who has publicly backed Hanson and recently described the One Nation leader as “an amazing, loving Australian”. “The support behind people like Pauline Hanson is growing day by day and people are talking to me online, saying ‘yes we love her’,” she said.
