Speaking during the event, Kindiki said Kenya's transformation depends on the equitable distribution of development programmes and the inclusion of all social and economic groups in a shared national vision. "The transformation of Kenya entails the spread of development programmes equitably and the inclusion of all socio-economic segments of our society into a shared national vision," he said. The Deputy President welcomed the new members into the ruling party, saying UDA was encouraged by the progress made in implementing its manifesto since taking office.
