Pixel 11 Line-up Will Have Higher Costs and Lower RAM, Says Leak

<p>A new leak has dropped ahead of the Pixel 11 launch, and if the details from <a href="https://www.androidheadlines.com/google-pixel-11-specifications" target="_blank" title="(Opens in a new tab)">Android Headlines</a> are correct, it means even more price hikes for Android consumers.</p><p>Google's upcoming Pixel 11 will start at $899, up $100 from the <a href="https://www.pcmag.com/reviews/google-pixel-10" target="_self">Pixel 10</a>. However, the Pixel 11 Pro will start at $1,099 in the US, the same as last year's <a href="https://www.pcmag.com/reviews/google-pixel-10-pro" target="_self">Pixel 10 Pro</a><a href="https://uk.pcmag.com/mobile-phones/159895/google-pixel-10-pro" target="_blank" title="(Opens in a new tab)">.</a></p><p>The Pixel 11 Pro XL will also be $100 more expensive than the <a href="https://www.pcmag.com/reviews/google-pixel-10-pro-xl" target="_self">previous generation</a>, coming in at $1,299 in the US, according to the leak. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is set to cost $1,899, another $100 price hike on the <a href="https://www.pcmag.com/reviews/google-pixel-10-pro-fold" target="_self">last generation Fold.</a> </p><p>The leak has not been officially confirmed by Google, so you'll have to wait until the official <a href="https://www.pcmag.com/news/google-set-to-show-off-pixel-11-lineup-at-aug-12-event" target="_self">Made by Google event on Aug. 12</a> to be certain of what the smartphones will cost you.</p><p>However, some Google execs have already indicated that prices are set to go up. Last week, Shakil Barkat, Google's VP of Devices and Services, <a href="https://9to5google.com/2026/07/24/google-pixel-11-price-increase/" target="_blank" title="(Opens in a new tab)"><u>told 9to5Google</u></a> that the entire Pixel family <a href="https://www.pcmag.com/news/google-to-raise-pixel-11-price-give-you-more-storage-256gb" target="_self">will see price "adjustments"</a> due to the aggressive increase in memory prices that the industry has faced over the past year.</p><p>Another change from last year is that the Pixel 11 Pro and the 11 Pro XL are getting a RAM cut. Both models are set to feature 12GB of RAM as standard, compared with their Pixel 10 counterparts, which started with 16GB as their base.</p><p>One upside is that the newest Pixel lineup is set for an all-around upgrade in terms of the storage on offer. The Pixel 11, Pro, Pro XL, and Pro Fold will all start with 256GB of storage as standard, Android Headlines reports. In the Pixel 10 lineup, only the Pro XL and Pro Fold offered this level of storage in their basic models.
