Police in Kazhakuttam arrested a 30-year-old man for the possession of nearly 95 grams of methamphetamine. The suspect allegedly attempted to evade capture by ramming his vehicle into a police car.
The City police have arrested a youth for alleged possession of nearly 95 grams of methamphetamine in Kazhakuttam on Sunday. The accused, identified as Shamnu, 30, of Malayinkeezhu, was arrested around 1 a.m. after his car was intercepted in Kazhakuttam in a joint operation by Kazhakuttam police and the District Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force (DANSAF). In a bid to escape arrest, the accused purportedly rammed his vehicle into the police vehicle.
