Prabowo Says Danantara Revenue Up 400%, But Pending Audit

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto reported a 400 percent revenue surge for the state-owned investment agency Danantara. However, officials noted these figures are preliminary and pending a formal audit by the Supreme Audit Agency.
TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto said he has received a report that the revenue of Indonesia's sovereign wealth fund Danantara surged by approximately 400 percent during its first year. But the head of state said the numbers remain subject to verification and auditing."I received a report stating that Danantara's revenue has increased by roughly 400 percent. We must continue to audit and verify this," Prabowo said during the launch of ten books authored by the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia, in Jakarta on Friday.According to the President, it would still prove to be a significant growth even if the increase falls short of 400 percent upon review. To date, the Daya Anagata Nusantara Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) has not yet released its consolidated financial report for the 2025 fiscal year, even though the state-owned enterprises (SOEs) within the Danantara ecosystem have finalized their respective financial statements.Danantara COO Dony Oskaria previously stated that the agency's consolidated financial report is targeted for completion within the next couple of months.Dony explained that compiling the report takes time because Danantara must consolidate the financial statements of over 1,000 companies, a process that includes eliminating inter-entity transactions.Dony assured that the upcoming Danantara financial report will have undergone an audit by the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK).He noted that the financial statements are currently in the pre-audit stage, with Danantara engaging financial consultants to structure accounts so that the consolidated report complies with applicable standards.Dony expressed optimism that the financial reporting process would proceed more swiftly in future years once the patterns for consolidation and the elimination of inter-SOE transactions are established.Read: Danantara to Hold Housing Expo at PIK This AugustClick here to get the latest news updates from Tempo on Google News
