Priyanka Chopra arrives in Hyderabad with Nick and Malti for Varanasi shoot

Priyanka Chopra and her family have arrived in Hyderabad, reportedly to continue filming for the upcoming movie 'Varanasi'. The film, which also stars Mahesh Babu, is scheduled for release in April 2027.
Actor Priyanka Chopra arrived in Hyderabad on Sunday with her husband, singer Nick Jonas, and their daughter Malti Marie. A video of the family walking out of the airport has surfaced online after being shared by a paparazzi page.The 44-year-old has not said why she is in the city, but reports suggest she has returned to continue shooting for SS Rajamouli's film Varanasi. The project stars Mahesh Babu in the lead alongside Priyanka and is set to release in theatres on April 7, 2027.Priyanka kept her airport look simple and comfortable. She wore a dark brown co-ord set with an off-shoulder top, along with a beige cap, black sunglasses and brown flats.Nick chose an all-black outfit for the journey. He wore a black shirt with matching trousers, white-and-black checkered sneakers and tinted sunglasses. The poster was widely shared on social media. In it, Priyanka is seen in a black outfit, holding a gun and wearing an intense expression.The film's official title was first announced during the Globetrotter event held in Hyderabad on November 15, 2025. Initial footage was shown only to those present at the event. The makers later released the first glimpse globally on Priyanka's birthday, July 18.Nick being a Bollywood buffThe Hyderabad visit comes soon after Priyanka spoke about Nick on the Jonas Brothers' official podcast, Hey Jonas. She said he often keeps up with Bollywood gossip better than she does, adding, 'He knows stuff even I don't know.'
