Rooftop solar connections in APCPDCL area rise from 6,489 to 50,114 in a year
The Andhra Pradesh Central Power Distribution Corporation Limited has significantly expanded its rooftop solar capacity, reaching over 50,000 connections under the PM Surya Ghar scheme. This initiative aims to meet state renewable energy targets while reducing electricity costs for consumers.
The Andhra Pradesh Central Power Distribution Corporation Limited (APCPDCL) has completed the installation of 50,114 rooftop solar connections with a total capacity of 180 MW under the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana , all of them synchronised with the power grid, its Chairman and Managing Director P. Pullareddy has said.
