Rotary Club donates HBOT chamber to Omandurar Government Hospital

The Rotary Club of Madras has donated a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) chamber to the Omandurar Government Multi Super Speciality Hospital. Supported by the Timken Foundation, the equipment is intended to treat conditions such as diabetic ulcers, burns, and radiation injuries.
The Rotary Club of Madras has handed over a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) Chamber to the Omandurar Government Multi Super Speciality Hospital on Thursday. The HBOT was procured with the support of Timken Foundation of Canton. A release said, the equipment will help enhance treatment for patients suffering from conditions such as diabetic foot ulcers, chronic non-healing wounds, burns, radiation injuries, and carbon monoxide poisoning. Sanjay Koul, Chairman and Managing Director, Timken India Ltd.; Ravi S., District Governor Nominee, Rotary International District 3234; and Rotary Club of Madras president S. Balakrishnan and former president Nikhil Raj were present, a press release said.
