The Ugandan Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation is promoting modern agricultural technology to boost coffee production and value addition. Government officials and local leaders visited the Inspire Africa Coffee Park to encourage farmers to adopt these methods for economic growth.
____________________ The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation plans to heavily invest in modern technologies aimed at increasing coffee production across Uganda. State Minister for Science, Technology and Innovation, Eng. Jonard Asiimwe Akiiki says this will accelerate Uganda's agro-industrial growth. On Friday, July 18, during a tour of the Inspire Africa Coffee Park in Rwashamaire, in Ntungamo district, the Minister encouraged farmers to increase coffee yields by embracing modern technology and value addition.
