ISLAMABAD - The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) registered a record 5,438 new companies during July 2026, the highest number of company incorporations ever recorded in a single month in the commission's history. The month also witnessed five international companies registering their places of business in Pakistan. The record registrations reflect growing confidence among local and foreign investors in Pakistan's business environment, as entrepreneurs increasingly opt for formal corporate structures to benefit from legal protection, improved governance, and easier access to finance.
