Seiko has launched a new 'Edo Purple' collection to celebrate its 145th anniversary, featuring six distinct watch models. The collection uses a specific shade of lavender to represent the future, with the Alpinist model highlighted for its technical updates and value.
2026 marks the 145 th anniversary of Seiko and in honour of the milestone, they have been paying tribute to the brand’s past, present and future. Each of those periods is reflected through a different colour across this year’s releases: gold for the past , blue for the present and now Edo purple for the future. There are six watches in this new ‘future’ collection, an Alpinist, Speedtimer, Cocktail Time, 5 Sports SKX, Rotocall and Astron model.
