SHA to providers: Submit queries on NHIF claims below Sh10m by July 31
The Social Health Authority (SHA) in Kenya has set a July 31 deadline for healthcare providers to submit queries regarding verified claims from the defunct National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) that are valued at Sh10 million or less. Providers must submit written requests with supporting documentation to facilitate a review process that will conclude within three weeks of the deadline.

In a notice issued on Friday, SHA CEO Mercy Mwangangi said the window is open to healthcare providers that have not yet completed the sign-off process for the verified claims and wish to seek clarification on the amounts communicated by the authority.
