SIT to probe irregularities in ghee procurement

The Kerala government has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe alleged irregularities in ghee procurement for the Sabarimala temple. The investigation will be conducted by the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau under the supervision of the Kerala High Court.
The Kerala government has constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Vigilance and Anti Corruption Bureau (VACB) to probe the alleged irregularities in the procurement of ghee for the Sabarimala temple. The five-member team will be supervised by Superintendent of Police M.J. Sojan, while Deputy Superintendent of Police C.H. Hari will serve as the investigating officer. The SIT also comprise Inspectors Saji Shankar, S. Sreejith, T.R. Kiran and Ratheendrakumar. The team was constituted on the basis of directions from the Kerala High Court.
