SM Seaside Cebu Arena poised as Visayas events landmark

CEBU CITY - SM Prime Holdings Inc. is set to officially open the SM Seaside Cebu Arena today, July 9, marking a major investment in Cebu's tourism and meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) industry while expanding the country's capacity to host world-class entertainment and sporting events. Hans T. Sy , chair of the executive committee of SM Prime, is scheduled to lead the inauguration alongside other company executives, Tourism Secretary Dita Angara-Mathay , Cebu Gov. Pam Baricuatro , Cebu City Mayor Nestor Archival Sr. , and other national and local officials.
