Special Intensive Revision: AI used to detect 6.41 lakh anomalies in Bengaluru

The Greater Bengaluru Authority is utilizing AI software to identify over 6.41 lakh logical discrepancies and duplicate entries within its electoral database. While the tool flags issues like spelling variations and demographic mismatches, officials note that final anomaly counts will only be confirmed after the draft electoral rolls are published.
For the first time since the enumeration phase began, the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA) has disclosed that there have been at least 6.41 lakh “logical discrepancies” or anomalies within its jurisdiction. So far, only 38.81% of enumeration forms were digitised as of 4 p.m. on Saturday. The overall figure also includes 2.66 lakh anomalies flagged in Bengaluru Urban.
