Swimming can be clinically effective in reducing disability from chronic low back pain

A clinical trial conducted by Macquarie University has found that an eight-week swimming program can effectively reduce disability associated with chronic low back pain. The findings, published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, provide evidence for non-pharmacological interventions in pain management.
