T.N. Agriculture Budget: DMK MLAs protest as Minister digresses from Agriculture Budget speech

DMK MLAs in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly protested after the Agriculture Minister continued speaking on topics outside the official budget speech. The Speaker refused to expunge the entire speech, stating only remarks that strictly warrant removal would be deleted from the records.
A brief commotion was witnessed in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly on Thursday when the Agriculture Minister R Vinoth, after completing his budget speech, began making other comments digressing from the printed text. The DMK MLAs strongly objected to this. However, the Minister continued to speak. Once he finished, the DMK MLAs demanded that the Minister should not be allowed to speak about anything outside the budget speech and insisted that the statements made beyond the budget be expunged from the Assembly records.
