Local administration officials across the region participated in special camps held in schools, public health facilities, and other designated centres, to distribute Albandezole (deworming) tablets on Monday. The drive was held as part of the annual programme conducted under the auspices of the Directorate of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Government of Tamil Nadu, in February and August in connection with National Deworming Day.
