The Telangana government has launched the 'New Employees Health Scheme' providing cashless medical services to over 1.7 million government employees, pensioners, and their families. The initiative includes a digital portal for health card management and covers 1,816 medical packages across nearly 1,000 private and public hospitals.
Telangana Government has launched ‘New Employees Health Scheme’ for the State government employees , retired personnel and their family members, on Friday (July 17, 2026). A total of 1,816 medical and surgical packages are part of it. Cashless health services would be offered at 886 private hospitals and 114 government hospitals.
