Tenders invited for expansion of international terminal in Thiruvananthapuram airport

The Adani Group has invited tenders for the expansion of the international terminal at Thiruvananthapuram International Airport. The project aims to increase annual passenger capacity from 3.2 million to 11.2 million by 2030.
Amid the controversy over the proposed stake sale in Adani Vizhinjam Port Private Ltd. (AVPPL), the concessionaire operating the Vizhinjam deep-water transshipment port, to Terminal Investment Ltd. (TiL), the port operating arm of the Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) Group, the Adani Group, which took over control of the Thiruvananthapuram International Airport, has invited tenders for the development of the international terminal (T2) and ancillary buildings at the airport.
