‘Tharangam’ to revive reading habit among youth in Kerala’s Kollam district

The Kollam district administration in Kerala is launching 'Tharangam', a monthly literary initiative designed to encourage reading habits among youth. The program will feature book reviews and direct interactions between students and established authors.
In an attempt to connect young minds with the rich world of books and literature, the district administration, in collaboration with the P.N. Panicker Foundation and the General Education Department, is launching a novel project titled ‘Tharangam – Ezhuthum Vayanayum’ . Designed to revive the joy of reading, the programme will feature book reviews, panel discussions, and literary exchanges held on the first Saturday of every month in the evening at the city’s V-Park.
