The Scar Radio marks sixth anniversary with Lagos nightlife event

The Scar Radio celebrated its sixth anniversary with the maiden edition of ‘Electrolytes,’ a music and nightlife event held at The Spice Route, Lagos, last Saturday. The event, organised in partnership with Jägermeister, attracted music lovers, nightlife enthusiasts and creatives who gathered to commemorate the online radio platform’s six years of operation. Singer W4 and skit maker-turned-musician Nasboi were among personalities who attended the event. Entertainment was provided by a lineup of disc jockeys, including DJ Bellami, DJ SKB, DJ Valentino, Big Riki, DJ Instinct, DJ Spizzy, DJ OTB, DJ Xnel, Yanfssss, ReBellyus, Busyi and Ephraim, popularly known as the Talking Drummer. Hypemen Holyfaze and Toby Shang also kept the audience engaged throughout the night. One of the highlights of the evening was the cutting of a commemorative cake to mark the radio station’s sixth anniversary, as guests joined the organisers in celebrating the milestone. According to the organizers, the anniversary serves as an opportunity to reflect on the platform’s growth and its contribution to promoting music and emerging creative talents.
